I love helping others learn. In my private studio setting, I have taught music to children K-12 and adults for three decades, everyone ages 4 to 84, literally. I have performed with countless classical ensembles over a 50-year time frame. For the last 40 I have played with jazz, contemporary, and folk ensembles as well.

Violinist Sarah Vonsattel has been a member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 2008. She previously held positions in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Colorado Symphony. Sarah has appeared as soloist with the musicians of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Syracuse Symphony, Coastal Symphony of Georgia, and the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra, among others.

Providing a customized schedule for each student is essential for engaging and encouraging musical growth.

When I was 6 I watched a symphonic concert on tv and I fell in love with strings. So I started asking a violin to my parents and began attending a violin course with a private teacher. Next I attended the music school of my town and at the age of 14 I entered Milan Conservatory where I met the viola, my true love.

I am a professional tango violinist, currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I started violin at the age of 5 and having experience performing in orchestras and concerts since then. Since then, I have been involved in summer music programs as well as festival orchestras all over the world. As a current student at Lehigh University studying engineering and music, I continue to play in orchestras and ensembles.

I have taught individual private lessons for five years to students of all ages and skill levels. In addition to my own studio of private students, I am currently helping launch Kansas State University's String Academy- a program for young violinists to attend weekly group classes, rent instruments free of charge, and learn foundational technique and repertoire.

Amanda Chamberlain Kofoed, Suzuki trained and certified, began studying the violin at age four in Salt Lake City, Utah, under the direction of Deborah Moench. At age 12 she began studying with the Associate Concertmaster of the Utah Symphony, Gerald Elias.
