About Needle Felted Squirrel with Kristen Walsh

Come sculpt an adorable squirrel using many needle felting techniques. This is a very fast paced workshop packed with a variety of techniques from building off and on the form, blending colors and using a reverse barbed needle. Your squirrel will be approximately 6" high when finished.


Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class

Scissor, wire cutters, students are welcome to bring their own work surface or borrow one from the instructor


Materials Fee (to be paid directly to the instructor)

$15 - includes core wool, merino roving in appropriate colors, needles and foam work surface for use during class. Students may bring their own work surface if they prefer.

Kristen Walsh

    Kristen Walsh is a published author and award-winning artist. She has been felting for 25+ years using fiber and felting as her primary medium. Her work is in private collections and has been selected for many juried gallery exhibitions around the United States. Recently she has published a felting book, Layers: Felted Art Projects Sparked from the Soul.
    Kristen enjoys teaching and finds great satisfaction in helping people find the creative spark she believes lives in all of us. She teaches out of her own studio, art centers, galleries, and fiber festivals, and teaches in-depth multi-day workshops on location.
