Hello & Welcome! Music education is unarguably one of the surest ways to develop the IQ and to infuse, in both children and adults, certain unquestionable characters needed for all-round success in life such as consistency/tenacity, confidence, determination, creativity (solution-orientedness), timeliness, spiritual commitment, diligence and teamwork to mention a few.

I have been playing piano for 26 years and helping other music lovers learn to play for the last 19 of those. I earned my B.F.A. at the California Institute of the Arts and my M.M. at SUNY Buffalo, both in piano performance. I love constantly learning more about music and piano while exploring it with my students.

I'm a pianist, conductor and an opera coach most of the time, as well as an arranger and general all-round musician. I've had hundreds of piano students over the years, and have taken many of them all the way from beginner to grade 8 and beyond. I also teach professional singers how to make their singing more convincing as an opera coach - NB - not a singing teacher!
