For over 33 years as a musician and 29 years as an educator for all grade levels and teachers alike, I have the experience of learning from my previous students and applying more efficient techniques to current and future ones. Much like my students, I work towards learning the most innovative techniques while foreseeing the trends of the future in music and education.

Alison has taught over 20,000 lessons in various instruments and voice to over 550 students in private lessons and small groups, in person and online. Her students range from age 3 through adults. I teach piano, guitar, bass, songwriting, and music production for kids, adults, beginners, and returning musicians. I earned a BA in Open Music Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May 2020, and I bring 23 years of piano experience, 14 years of guitar experience, and 10 years of songwriting, recording, and production work into my lessons.

I hold a BA in music and a MMEd (master’s degree in music education). I have toured the US with various bands and ensembles including an indie-rock quintet, a 10-piece chamber rock ensemble, a big band orchestra and as a solo musician. I compose and perform my own music and just released my second album of original music.

Hello! I have been playing piano with my family from the age of 6, pursuing professional piano lessons around the age of 12. After attending college, where I received a BS degree in Music, as well as 5 years' experience accompanying choirs, ensembles, and bands, I began teaching in my own studio and have done so since 2012.

Gilberto Peixoto Junior is a Brazilian pianist who began his musical journey at age 10, learning music by ear before enrolling at the local conservatory in São Paulo, Brazil. By age 13, he was already performing solo and with ensembles in various venues in the capital and rural areas.

Jack Schabert is a Twin Cities based drummer, composer, and educator. He performs professionally around the metro area with various jazz groups, and is an Instructor of Percussion, Piano, Drum Set, and Jazz Studies at Opus Music Academy. Jack is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

Singer, Song writer, Guitarist, Bassist, Keyboardist, Drummer. I’ve been a professional Performing Artist for over 40 years, and teaching for 35. I have an Associates in Music (Voice major/Piano minor) and a Bachelors in Human Behavioral Sciences, and am actively perusing a degree in Music Therapy.
