Hello, mi name is María Sonderéguer, I'm 27 years old. I live in Buenos Aires, I've graduated from Escuela de Música Contemporánea, global partner with Berklee College of Music. I've always been passionate about music, I'm a professional singer, but I also play piano since I was 7 years old and guitar since I was 15.

Born and raised in New Orleans, I was immersed in one of the world's richest musical traditions, learning as a young teenager by playing gigs, jamming with friends, and making music alongside other musicians. Those experiences taught me that the fastest path to becoming a confident musician is to listen, adapt, and keep the music moving—a philosophy that remains at the heart of my…

Welcome to my studio! I love helping kids play music that's super fun, level-appropriate, and fulfilling. A grounding in technique and theory helps kids achieve their goals so they don't get bored. I am passionate about always improving my teaching and expanding my music library.

I hold a BA in music and a MMEd (master’s degree in music education). I have toured the US with various bands and ensembles including an indie-rock quintet, a 10-piece chamber rock ensemble, a big band orchestra and as a solo musician. I compose and perform my own music and just released my second album of original music.
