I'm Jim Spencer and the owner of Spencer Music and Artist Development located in Long Beach, CA. I have over 30 years of both private and university teaching experience and I'm an LA industry artist developer to talented actors, musical theatre artists, vocalists, singer/songwriters, and keyboardists.

Violinist Emelyn Bashour (BM, Eastman School of Music; MM, University of Michigan) has performed across North and South America. During her studies she served as concertmaster of both U-M’s University Symphony Orchestra and the Eastman Philharmonia. She is also an alum of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School.

Studied music at UW-Stevens Point (Suzuki and classically trained), Lehi Gertz is a fiddler in several bands in MN specializing in Country, Folk, Bluegrass and Old Time fiddling styles. Lehi currently teaches orchestra to beginner as well as intermediate students and has been teaching piano and violin for over 18 years.

My name is Caitlin Edwards and I've been playing and writing music for twenty years. I play guitar, violin, and ukulele. I have my Bachelors of Music (Music Therapy) from Western Illinois University. I am a board certified music therapist, but I also give music lessons. I can provide beginner to expert guitar, violin, and ukulele lessons for all ages.

Grounded firmly in Canada's longstanding Ottawa-valley fiddling tradition, Tom is an avid explorer of many musical genres, namely traditional & contemporary Irish, American fiddle, and jazz. Tom is a seasoned performer and an original member of the international touring band "The Fitzgeralds". He also tours frequently with Celtic group "Runa" across North America.

I have been teaching violin for the past ten years to students of all ages and levels. I love teaching, and especially helping my students develop in all of the styles of playing they are interested in. I specialize in classical violin, having grown up in the Suzuki method, and then going on to receive my bachelor's and master's degrees in violin performance.

Initially trained as a classical violinist, my current passions include Southern Old-Time, Irish, French-Canadian Fiddle music and Klezmer. In June 2011, I became the first teacher in Washington State to be certified in the Mark O'Connor Violin Method, a developmental curriculum of American folk music for students of all levels.

Lindsey received a doctorate in Music and Music Education from Columbia University's Teachers College. She has over 20-years of teaching experience with individual and group instruction, ages 3-50+. She finished her Masters in String Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I'm glad your curiosity about the violin has led you here-- here's a little about me... After graduating from Oberlin Conservatory, I’ve followed my violin all over the world. I’ve been lucky enough to play with Wynton Marsalis at Tanglewood, support artists like Luciano Pavarotti, Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli in huge stadium shows, and even tour with popular bands like ODESZA.
