I am a professional musician and dedicated educator offering personalized music instruction in piano, flute, and violin. Based in New York, I have been teaching private lessons both in person and online since 1993. I work with students of all ages and skill levels—including beginners, college-bound musicians, adults, and retirees—helping each one grow in confidence and ability.

I'm a professional pianist with 25 years of experience in playing and performing and over 14 years of comitted teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Artist Diploma from Longy School Of Music of Bard college in Cambridge, MA.

I have a degree in Jazz from L'Aula at Berklee College of Music and a certificate in Music from the Gregorian Institute in Lisbon. My teaching focuses on developing a solid foundation in technique, music theory, sight-reading, and improvisation, while encouraging creativity and musical expression. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals and learning style.

I began studying piano at the age of 7, developing a deep passion for music and the instrument. I hold a degree in Elementary Education, and after college, I transitioned into teaching piano. With 17 years of experience, I have taught students in diverse music settings, including group, private, online, and studio lessons.

I started playing clarinet in a very good public school band program. My high school band was good enough to perform at Yankee Stadium during the World Series in 1976. Upon graduating from high school in 1980 I attended Montclair State University where I studied clarinet, saxophone and flute, graduating in 1986 with a degree in music education.
