I am new to Lessonface! I am a professional pianist, vibraphonist, and percussionist. My musical journey began with the drum set, but before long I discovered the world of classical percussion, particularly percussion ensemble music.

Andy Blanco is a percussionist in New York City with a diverse career of performing and recording with symphony orchestras, opera companies, chamber ensembles, bands, singers, composers, and on Broadway. He is currently a percussionist and assistant conductor for West Side Story on Broadway.

Chris Lee As a composer, vibraphonist and drummer Chris Lee brings a distinct perspective to his music. He attended Marylhurst College and Portland State University, where he was a member of the percussion ensemble under the direction of Tomas Svoboda.

I am a classically trained percussionist with a Master of Music from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Music from Central Michigan University. My performance background includes regular appearances with the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Sinfonietta Orchestra.

I've been playing percussion for over 20 years. I am a tenured percussionist with the Houston Ballet Orchestra and perform regularly with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, San Antonio Symphony, and Ft. Worth Symphony. I hold two music performance degrees from Baylor and Rice University.

Playing and teaching music is my life and passion! I have been playing music since the 1980's. While I received my Bachelor of Music Degree in Classical percussion, my tastes in music are extremely wide ranging. Everything from Classical to Music theatre, Latin/Brazilian, Canto-pop, R+B, Funk, Industrial, Armenian and Persian Folk music. It's all music, and it's all great!

I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator. I have performed professionally since 1993, with over 3,000 professional engagements since then as drummer, jazz vibraphonist, orchestral/theater percussionist, and even some guitar and bass. From 1999 until 2010 I averaged over 150 gigs a year, typically with dozens of bandleaders and contractors in a single year.
