I have been teaching violin for the past ten years to students of all ages and levels. I love teaching, and especially helping my students develop in all of the styles of playing they are interested in. I specialize in classical violin, having grown up in the Suzuki method, and then going on to receive my bachelor's and master's degrees in violin performance.

I'm the concertmaster of the Savannah Philharmonic, and a tenured member of the New Jersey Symphony. I'm also a graduate of the Juilliard School, where I studied with Glenn Dicterow, former concertmaster of the NY Philharmonic. Sometimes, I wish composing was as easy as making yogurt—once started, it would essentially create more of itself. Even though that is definitely not the case, I generally still take more enjoyment in the disorderly scrawls on the manuscript paper piling up on my desk than in the tangy bacteria cultures in my crockpot.
