Hello! I am a freelance composer and teacher based in the Twin Cities. I started teaching violin over 14 years ago and since then, have expanded my studio to incorporate theory, composition, and beginning piano. I have a MFA in Theory and Composition from the University of New Mexico and a BA of Music from Bryn Mawr College.

I have always had a passion for music, and I have been lucky enough to have traveled the world playing my violin. During my career, I have never stopped teaching. I have been taught by the best, and I believe that I am qualified to teach what I have learned to others. I have taught students from ages 5-88, no kidding, in the US and in Europe as well.

Born in Armenia (1960) I am a professional violinist and educator with an extensive international career as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader, and conservatory professor. I began my concert career at the age of 11, performing as a soloist and as a member of the Fortepiano Trio in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, various Soviet republics, and across Europe.

Sara Rodriguez is a Honduran-born freelance violinist based in Dallas, TX. A graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her bachelors, and Baylor University, where she earned her masters in music performance. Sara has been a student of Dr. Stephen Redfield, Dr Bruce Berg, and Professor Julia Bushkova.

Gina received her Masters Degree in Viola Performance from Hopkins University. She has studied and worked with Roberto Diaz, Mick Wetzel, Peter Marsh and Michelle LaCourse. Gina can be heard and seen in numerous TV, recording and Film projects that include United Airlines, Apple TV, the TV series “Fargo” and The Alan Parsons Project to name a few.
