No-Sew Strips from Upcycled Sheets
No-Sew Strips from Upcycled Sheets with Laura Berlage
Whether you weave rag rugs or are eyeing up Laura's "Crochet a Basket with Sheets" class, learn her slick method for making fabric strips that doesn't require you to sew the ends of the fabric together! You're even welcome to bring sheets to class (regular cotton or flannel) and try the technique! She'll be sharing tips for splicing as well, specific to both weaving and crochet applications. Repurposing fabrics is a great way to give these materials a second, useful life, so let's get ripping and tearing!
This small group class is presented in collaboration with John C. Campbell Folk School and Lessonface.
