Scat Lab is a playful, immersive class where we explore the art of scat and vocal improvisation; no experience required. Whether you are a seasoned singer or someone who has never improvised a note in your life, this space is for you.
In this lab, we will:
- Experiment with vocal sounds and textures
- Improvise over swing feel, funk, soul, and more
- Learn how to build confidence in spontaneous creation
- Play with rhythm, phrasing, and groove
- Unlock your unique improvisational voice
This is not about being perfect.
This is about curiosity, risk, groove, and joy.

How It Works
