Want to sound like real tango instead of “classical playing tango notes”? This focused workshop will give you the essential tools to start playing with authentic tango style right away.
Designed for violinists and violists, this session introduces the core articulations and phrasing concepts that define the tango sound, with practical techniques you can apply immediately.
In this class, you will learn:
• Basic tango articulations (marcato, accents, phrasing patterns)
• How to shape musical gestures in tango style
• Bow techniques for rhythm, clarity, and character
No prior tango experience required. Basic instrument control recommended.

I have a Master degree in violin performance from UND and I am finishing (ABD) a Doctoral’s program at the University of Minnesota. Also I taught violin to students of all ages, and performed as a soloist, a recitalist and a chamber musician. I had played in Japan, China, Brazil, Argentina, Italy and all over the United States.
