Classical Vocal Technique: Theory and Application
About Classical Vocal Technique: Theory and Application
Are you already studying classical singing but feel that your technique needs more clarity and structure?
Do you want to understand why you are doing what you are doing when you sing?
Would you like detailed technical feedback in a focused and professional environment?
This course is designed for intermediate-level singers (18+) who want to deepen their understanding of classical vocal technique through an integrated approach: theory, body awareness, and direct practical application.
The class begins with a structured technical segment where we explore essential aspects of classical vocal production: breath management, alignment, phonation, resonance strategies, articulation, and musical phrasing. The theoretical concepts are immediately connected to guided vocal exercises so students can embody and test the ideas in real time.
The second part of the class follows a masterclass format. Five active singers will work directly with the instructor on repertoire of their choice, while the remaining participants observe. Active students rotate weekly so that all enrolled singers receive individual coaching throughout the month.
Observing is not passive: listening analytically, comparing solutions, and recognizing patterns in different voices are fundamental tools for artistic and technical growth.
