Draw a Realistic Eye at Any Skill Level!
About Draw a Realistic Eye at Any Skill Level!
No drawing experience needed — this class is made for complete beginners! Do you think drawing a realistic human eye is out of your reach? After this class, you may feel very differently.
In this step-by-step class, you'll learn to draw a detailed, realistic eye in pencil — including shading that gives it real depth and dimension. I'll provide a reference photo, and we'll work through every part together, from the basic shape all the way to the finished shading. As we go, I'll give each student personal feedback on what's working well and what might need a small adjustment.
The techniques you'll pick up in this class aren't just for eyes — you'll be able to use them when drawing various other subjects as well.
If you're worried everyone else will be better than you, don't be. They're all probably thinking the same thing. This isn't a competition; it's about having fun and walking away with a skill you can keep building on.
And in my experience with teaching how to draw an eye, students consistently produce results that far exceed what they thought they were capable of.

I’ve been a full time fine artist for a decade and a half now, and have been doing guest demos, private and group lessons for many years, for various subject matter and age groups.
