About Draw a Realistic Full-Body Person at Any Skill Level!
No drawing experience needed — this class is made for beginners! If you've ever watched someone draw and secretly wished you could do the same, here's your chance to find out that you absolutely can.
In this hands-on, step-by-step class, you'll learn to draw a full human figure with accurate proportions using a reference photo I'll provide. We'll work through each part of the figure together, and I'll give personal feedback and suggestions to each student as we go. Along the way, you'll pick up practical techniques that work for drawing almost anything:
Negative space — seeing the shapes around your subject
Measuring & working sight size — keeping proportions accurate
Straight-line comparison — finding how different parts of the figure align
These are the same methods working artists use every day, and you'll be able to apply them long after class is over.
Questions are welcome anytime. And if you're worried everyone else will be better than you — they're all probably thinking the exact same thing. This isn't a competition; it's about having fun and surprising yourself. In my experience teaching this subject, students consistently walk away with results that far exceed what they thought they were capable of.

Suggested Materials:
A paper drawing pad
A sharp pencil
A good eraser. Kneaded erasers are great but others will work also
Some scrap paper
If you have a T-square or ruler, they may be useful but are not required
